AMPLITUDE Studios (hereinafter "AMPLITUDE Studios", "us" or "we") is a French independent video game developer founded in 2011, based in Paris with an international team. We offer a wide array of products and services to entertain you including ENDLESS™ series, played by millions worldwide, HUMANKIND™, our historical strategy game, and our custom-built community platform AMPLIFIERS, that enables our community to play a key role in the creation of our games at every stage of development.
AMPLITUDE Studios collects as controller different types of information from you, including information that may be considered as personal (personal information), when you use our websites or apps or AMPLIFIERS (our custom-built community platform) , play our games, attend one of our events or programs or otherwise interact with our businesses online or offline (together, the "Products").
We respect your concerns relating to the protection of your privacy and your personal data. This privacy policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Privacy Policy") explains how we collect, use and protect your personal data when you use our Products or interact with us, in accordance with regulation No 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council on the General Data Protection Regulation ("GDPR").
This privacy notice is therefore an important resource for you, helping to ensure that you have a positive and confident experience of AMPLITUDE Studios handling of your personal data and enabling us to provide accurate and complete answers to any questions you may have and to take account of your wishes in this area.

If, after contacting our DPO, you feel that your rights with regard to your data have not been respected, you may lodge a complaint with the competent authority in your country, which in France is the Commission nationale de l’informatique et des libertés (CNIL).

We will only collect and process your personal data where we have a lawful basis to do so. As stated throughout this Privacy Policy, our lawful bases include consent, for example, where you have agreed to receive updates and marketing emails from AMPLITUDE Studios, contract (where processing of your personal data is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (e.g. to supply the Products you have requested), compliance with our legal obligations, and/or our legitimate business interest in administering our business operations.
We want you to enjoy using our Products and recommend that you do not share more personal information than necessary when using the Products, including chat, comment interfaces and AMPLIFIERS Platform.

Appendix A - Information from suppliers, vendors, business partners, and similar businesses
1. Information we collect and receive
We collect personal data about you and the devices you use to access and interact with us and our Products. We collect:
- Registration, login and contact information (name, contact details, age, gender, personal preferences, personal identifiers, including Platform Operator account ID, and additional information that you chose to provide) you give us when you register or sign up to access our Products, or when you wish to register to attend an event or program, hosted or sponsored by AMPLITUDE Studios.
- Technical and device information (e.g. web browser, operating system, interaction with our systems, including log in information) from your mobile or computer device when you use our Products, including unique identifiers associated with your device, such as IP address.
- Location information derived from device information associated with your IP address, city or country code, or address, or Third Party Advertisers with your consent.
- Feedback / surveys / user research /testing information (including name, age and e-mail address, and additional relevant information, for instance, information about your gaming platforms and habits, age and email address) from your questions, suggestions or views on our Products, from the messages and reviews you post on our social channels and forums, or on the AMPLIFIERS platform, or when you participate in a testing session. We may also film and record these testing sessions.
- Third party and social media information about your use of our Products that is shared with third party platforms and services (such as Mod.io and YouTube) connected with our Products or that has been made publicly available by you on third party platforms (such as Facebook or Twitter or Reddit) and which relates to our Products. We also collect information about your social media engagement and interaction with social media sites that is collected when you use third party social media sharing technologies relating to our Products.
- Usage Information that we collect when you use our Products, including log in information, images from your device you submit to us, and webpages, apps, and ads you see and interact with, as well as the accounts you link together. We also collect Data analytics Information relating to your use of the Product that We collect from live operations software tools used to make changes, updates or improvements to our Products.
- Participation information (e. g. name, age, country, address…) you provide to us when you participate in our competitions. You may also be required to submit a photograph or video of yourself if this forms part of the entry requirements of the competition.
- User Acquisition/Attribution and profile information (such as your IP address, Platform Operator account information (e.g. the pseudonymised user ID associated with your Xbox or Steam account), hardware and software information, aggregate gameplay data, usage data and purchase histories, sales and gameplay data related to your interactions with our Products), that is collected or combined to help us acquire new users for our Products and to build Core, Custom and Lookalike Audiences.
- Cookies and other tracking technologies: We, and our service providers may use cookies and similar technologies (including but not limited to tracking pixels and web beacons (collectively, "Cookies"). We use tracking pixels in our marketing communications so that we can verify if the e-mail has been opened. You can learn more about our processing practices when you interact with cookies, by reviewing our Cookies Policy. Please note that you may not be able to use certain features relating to our Products and Services if you opt out from receiving Cookies.
- Other information you provide when you post or send online notifications or messages or obtained from social features used within our Products, such as in-game communications, as well as copies of your correspondence with us for if you contact us by making a support request by sending a mail to: cs@amplitude-studios.com.
Important information about third party data:
You can choose to sign-up for our Products using third party services such as your Facebook account in which case Facebook will ask you for permission to provide certain personal data such as your username, date of birth, contact details, profile picture, your "likes", and your friend list, depending on the settings you have selected for such third-party services. If you prefer not to have this personal data disclosed when you use third party services, please do not use third party services to access our Products and Services. For information about how third-party services, including social networking websites handle your personal data, please refer to their privacy policies and terms of use. Social networking websites may have features that prevent you from modifying certain privacy settings.
2. Our use of collected information
AMPLITUDE Studios uses your Information to provide you with our Products.
We use Information only as permitted or required by law and as described in this privacy policy or otherwise disclosed at the time of collection.
We will only collect and process personal data about you where we have a good reason (lawful basis). As stated throughout this Privacy Policy, our lawful bases include consent (where you have given consent to, say, receive updates and marketing emails), contract (where processing is necessary for the performance of a contract with you (e.g. to supply the Products you have requested)) and "legitimate interests" (where we perform marketing campaigns, analytics to improve our Products, services, client relationship…).
- Provide our Products
We use your Information to provide our wide range of Products that you request, view, or otherwise engage with. This might include customizing and personalizing the Products for you. For example:
- Your registration information enables us to provide you with access to our Products and to supply the Products, including when you attend an event or programme organised and/or administered by AMPLITUDE Studios. This is necessary for the purpose of performing the contract we have with you or facilitating your attendance at one of our events or programmes. It helps us to authenticate your access to our Products, to contact you for your views and to notify you of important changes or updates to our Products or an event which you have registered to attend.
- When you play our games and experience our interactive Products, we may use Information to personalise your experience or to recommend or enable in-game features, purchases, or rewards.
- Competition management
AMPLITUDE Studios collects and processes competition data for the purposes of running and monitoring the competition, as well as for carrying out publicity activities relating to the competition.
- Operate our business
We use and analyse information about you and your use of our Products, including log files, for our legitimate interests by data matching or statistical analysis so that we can administer, support, resolve technical problems, and to help us detect and prevent fraud, or other illegal activities, or acts prohibited by our terms of service or any policies applicable to our Products.
We use technologies to provide us with information, such as when an email is opened, or to develop statistics on the effectiveness of advertising or marketing. In some cases, working with third-party partners, we use this information to send you ads for our Products based on the games you play. (please refer below to the 'Marketing and advertising' section of this policy to learn more about our marketing and ad practices).
AMPLITUDE Studios also uses anti-cheat and/or anti-hacking technologies to help us to detect illegal or malicious activity and to take the appropriate actions if such activity is detected. The anti-cheat/hacking technologies within your Product require you to download certain data to your device. If you disable or otherwise tamper with these technologies, the Product may not operate properly, and you will be in breach of the applicable user license agreement.
- Improve our Products, deliver personalised content and provide support
Our games may include specific reporting tool to help our team identify main bugs and game problems, such as Sentry on ENDLESS™ Legend 2 (please visit Sentry privacy policy here).
We also analyse information about how you engage with our Products (including player performance statistics, in-game actions, character options and other similar in-game data), together with information collected during surveys and user research sessions, to understand how our Products are used and to provide you with an optimal gaming experience, such as by rolling out performance-optimising software updates for our Products and to develop new Products.
We use de-identified or pseudonymous data in order to analyse and produce statistics relating to the habits, usage patterns and demographics of users as a group or as individuals. This allows us to deliver you personalised content, helps us understand the features of our Products that appeal to you and allows us to manage advertising, amongst other things (please refer below to the ‘Marketing and advertising’ section of this policy to learn more about our marketing and ad practices).
We use and analyse data publicly available (such as Steam reviews) for our legitimate interests so that we can collect information about how you use our Products, how you engage with our marketing campaigns and to gain an understanding of community sentiment about our Products. We may use third party analytics providers who collect this data on our behalf.
- Marketing and advertising
We use various forms of marketing to acquire new users for our Products, working with a variety of third party partners (please visit the table at the end of this section to learn about our partners) to deliver our marketing campaigns and serve advertisements on external websites and social media platforms.
As part of this, we may share certain data with our user acquisition and attribution partners. If you have consented to this type of marketing, you will receive targeted ads when you use the internet or play our Products (our Custom Audience) or if you share similar interests with other users (our Lookalike Audience). You may also receive ads about our Products depending on your age, location, gender and language (our Core Audience). Further information about the protection of your privacy and the way to disable the remarketing functions can be found in the relevant partner’s privacy policy. You will need to log in to the social platform to administer your advertising preferences.
We may use analytics technologies to link your online activities (including across your devices) so that we can serve targeted ads such as new games releases or new in-game features, for example. Valve (the Platform Operator for the Steam digital download platform) may for example share pseudonymised Steam IDs with us to help optimise our offerings to you and to help us understand how you are using our Products. Again, if Valve shares this information with us, it does so subject to its privacy policy, and the privacy settings of your Steam account.
We may also work with advertising networks that serve advertisements into our Products, or the websites and products of third parties. Some of those advertisements may be personalised to your behaviour, location or interests based on your activity and technical information and/or use data contained within the cookies which are stored on your device, with your consent.
Personalisation of your experience may be facilitated when our technology partners disclose data, such as your browsing patterns, geolocation, and device identifiers, and this information is matched (Data Matching) with the browser and device you are using.
We may also bring you third-party content in certain Products, which you would traditionally see in a live game environment, for example sponsoring operations for charitable causes.

- Other uses with Your Consent
For some Services, we will ask for permission to access your device’s speaker or camera. If you grant permission, you may be able to record audio, take pictures or video within the app experience.
We may also provide functionality within our Products which enables you to upload gameplay footage to YouTube. If you choose to use this feature, we will receive and store an authentication token from Google so that the feature will operate properly. The use of this functionality is governed by YouTube’s Terms of Service: https://www.youtube.com/static?template=terms. To the extent required by law, we will ask for permission to contact you for marketing purposes to let you know by email, telephone, mobile or inapp messaging about our other products and services.
We may also use your Information with your consent for other purposes described at the point of collection.
We only keep Information for as long as we need it to fulfil the purposes, we are using it for, as permitted by law.
3. Unsubscribe from our marketing communications
If you no longer want us to use your personal data for marketing communications, you can unsubscribe at any time, either by using the unsubscribe option in the communication you receive or by changing your communication settings. By unsubscribing from marketing communications, you will be opted out of our email/marketing tracking pixels. Please note that we will retain a record of the user information when you unsubscribe from our marketing information for the legitimate purpose of ensuring that we do not contact you further in this way, during the period of your objection, if relevant.
Even if you opt out from receiving marketing messages from us, you may continue to receive service updates from us, such as to confirm your purchase of one of our Products, updates relating to our policies and practices, or other communications regarding our relationship or transactions with you. Please note that we will retain a record of the user information when you unsubscribe from our marketing information for the legitimate purpose of ensuring that we do not contact you further in this way, during the period of your objection, if relevant.
4. When we share information
We share the information we collect about you, including your use of our Products (subject to the necessary security, contractual and transfer safeguards) with our business partners and service providers to provide you with an optimal experience, to facilitate use of our Products as advertised and to enable you to play our Products on various gaming platforms.
- These are the main categories of third parties we share your personal data with: Service Providers. AMPLITUDE Studios hires vendors and other companies to perform services for us such as creation, maintenance, hosting, delivery, and marketing of our Products. This may include customer service, or conducting research and analytics based on interactions during a user session
- Third party platform operators such as Valve who operate the Steam digital download platform, Epic, Apple, Google Play, Sony PlayStation, Nintendo, Microsoft Xbox, and other partners who carry out various activities and services to support our Products (collectively, the "Platform Operators")
- Marketing partners for marketing or promotions such as Mailchimp, based on your communication preferences; certain Products are currently supported by third party advertising partners that serve advertisements ("Third Party Advertisers"), including based advertising ("Interest Based Advertising") within our Products. These Third Party Advertisers use technology to serve the advertisements and link to them directly into our Products. They may automatically receive your device ID, IP address or geo-location data when this happens. They may also use other technologies (such as cookies, JavaScript, or web beacons) to measure the effectiveness of their advertisements and to personalise the advertising content you see. - New owners or re-organised entities and their advisors in the event of a business restructure, sale, purchase or joint venture affecting our business; and
- Law enforcement agencies/authorities, when we are under a duty or are authorised by law for law enforcement purposes.
- Others when you provide us with your consent to do so, for example, when we disclose information to a third party to link an account you have with us to the third party’s account.
5. International Transfers
Your personal data may be transferred to other countries where AMPLITUDE Studios service providers maintain operations. These countries may not have equivalent data protection laws to those applicable within the European Union.
Whenever we transfer your Information outside the European Union, we will ensure that we rely on appropriate safeguards, this includes using contractual mechanisms (such as standard contractual clauses), but sometimes we may use other legal mechanisms.

6. Security and data retention
Your privacy is important to us and we place great importance on the steps we take, including technical and organisational measures to protect your information from unauthorised access and against unlawful processing, accidental loss, destruction and damage.
Where you have chosen a password which allows you to access any of our Products, you are responsible for keeping this password confidential. We advise you not to share your password with anyone. We will not be liable for any unauthorised transactions entered into using your personal data, including but not limited to your username, and/or password. If you suspect unauthorised access, you should change your password, using a strong password immediately.
Your personal data will be retained by us for the duration of your use or access to our Products and may be retained for a period after this time as necessary and relevant to our legitimate operations, our terms with you and in accordance with applicable laws and obligations. This may include retention necessary to meet our tax reporting requirements as well as time required to enforce any obligations in our agreements, any game "sun-setting" requirements or to identify, issue or resolve legal proceedings or disputes, fraud prevention, and related security purposes. When determining how long to retain personal data, we consider the amount, nature and sensitivity of the information, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of the information, the purposes for which we process the information, applicable legal requirements, and our general business operations.

We will take appropriate steps to seek to destroy or permanently anonymise personal data at the point this information is no longer necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

7. Privacy and data protection rights
Depending on our reason for processing your personal data and applicable laws, you have certain rights on your personal data. Such rights include the following:
- Right to access your personal data. You can request information that we process about you.
- Right to rectify your personal data. If you think that the personal data, we process about you is inaccurate, you can ask us to rectify or correct it. If you need to sign in to access certain Products, you can update and amend your key contact information directly.
- Right to delete your personal data. You can ask us to erase the personal data that we process about you. Please note that in certain cases (e.g., legal obligation to process your personal data, on-going contractual relationship etc.) we may not be able to erase your personal data.
- Right to data portability. You can in some cases ask us to transfer the information about you in a digital format or to have it transmitted directly to another controller (where technically feasible). This right only applies in certain circumstances (for example, if we are processing your personal data with automated means and based on your consent or the contract, we have concluded with you in your individual capacity).
- Right to ask us to restrict the processing of your personal data. In certain circumstances, you can ask us to limit the way we use your personal data.
- Right to object to our processing of your personal data. In certain circumstances (on grounds relating to your particular situation), you can object to the processing of your personal data by us on the basis of our legitimate interests, including for direct marketing purposes.
- Right to withdraw consent: you can withdraw your consent at any time in respect of any processing of Information which is based upon a consent.
- Right to lodge a complaint before the supervisory authority: If you believe your rights have been breached or AMPLITUDE Studios has not complied with data protection laws, you may make a complaint to our supervisory body for data protection matters or seek a remedy through local courts. The relevant supervisory body will depend on where you are located which you can find here.

8. Children’s information
Protecting the privacy of young children is especially important to AMPLITUDE Studios. For that reason, specific restrictions may apply. Specifically, only fans who are 16 or over can use our AMPLIFIERS platform (applicable starting November 17th, 2025). Most of our surveys are also accessible only to people who are 16 or over.
If AMPLITUDE Studios learns that personal data of users under the age of 16 has been collected, AMPLITUDE Studios will take reasonable steps to remove such information. If you believe that we may have unintentionally collected personal data about your child who is under 16 years of age, you may contact us using the details provided below.

10. Changes to this policy
We reserve the right to update this Privacy Policy from time to time by changing it as it applies to your use of any of our Products.
Appendix A - Information from suppliers, vendors, business partners, and similar businesses
- Contact and Business Information. If you are a company or other organisation that we engage with, or a representative of the foregoing, we may collect your name, phone number, email address, and postal address, government identifier, and business name, industry, locations, other information related to your employer, and any other information or personal data that you choose to provide us, including through third-party portals and platforms.
- Financial and Transactional Information. If we need to make payments to you or receive payments from you, we may collect financial account and related transactional information.
- Communications. If you contact us, we may receive personal data such as your name, email address, and phone number. We will also receive the contents of any communications you have with us. This might include requests, questions, and/or issues regarding our Products, services we provide to each other, an account you hold with us, or other topics you might raise.
- Events and Programmes. If you register for or attend an event or programme that we host, sponsor, or attend, we may receive information such as your name, email address, phone number, and other personal data related to your attendance at the event or program from those who interact with or express interested in AMPLITUDE Studios or our Products.
- Surveys, Promotions, Competitions and Gifting. If you decide to participate in any surveys, promotions, competitions or our gifting activities, you may provide certain personal data, such as basic contact information and other information relevant to the survey, promotion, competition or gifting activity.
We will process and retain this information and the related personal data for as long as necessary to perform our legitimate business activities in accordance with applicable laws and our business data retention policy.
